Neurological
Care
At MSH Healthcare, we provide comprehensive care and support for people across a range of neurodegenerative conditions such as Dementia, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Motor Neurone Disease – offering both long-term care and rehabilitation in a comfortable and supportive environment, working closely with the individual, their family and wider support networks to create a personalised care programme. Regulated by the Care Quality Commission, we provide continuous care in the home to people living with a whole range of neurological conditions.
Focusing on behaviour, cognition and mobility, we offer assessments based on key areas such as everyday life skills, cognitive skills and involvement in the local community. We tailor support to individuals’ needs and encourage and motivate people to maintain or increase their independence through therapeutic, leisure and social activities.
We’re experienced in helping people across Cumbria and the Northwest who’ve been living with their condition for a life-time or after a sudden onset event, such as a head injury, stroke or cancer of the brain or spine.
Our experienced nurses and carers are trained to an exceptional standard in caring for people who have neurodegenerative disorders. We also work closely with external multi-disciplinary teams to make sure that the individual receives the appropriate levels of care and support.
Our complex care services in England are licensed and regulated to provide dementia care by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our nursing services elsewhere in Britain are registered and inspected by the relevant Care Inspectorates in Scotland and Wales.
